Ron Ransom is Chief Executive Officer of American Endowment Foundation (AEF), one of the nation’s largest independent donor-advised fund sponsors in expanding philanthropy throughout the financial services industry.
Over the past three decades Ron has demonstrated exceptional executive presence, driving results and empowering others, a true testament to his visionary leadership. Prior to AEF, Ron was Group Head of ESG and Chief Business Development Officer at Envestnet Inc. and has held pivotal roles at renowned institutions including UBS, Bank of America and Nationwide Financial.
Mr. Ransom has served on several boards, including The American College, The Ohio State University Early Head Start Program, and the King Arts Complex. Through his unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders Ron actively supports the Colgate Maroon Council, The Colgate Maroon Council Alumni of Color, and Handshake America, transitioning from coach to a revered board member and internal affairs chair.
Ron earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University and a Master of Science in management from The American College. He also holds various professional licenses and certifications, including Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65. He is insurance licensed, a Six Sigma Green Belt and a certified facilitator in “Leadership Through People Skills.”
