Ron Ransom is Chief Executive Office of the American Endowment Foundation (AEF). He leads one of the nation’s largest independent donor-advised fund sponsors in expanding philanthropy throughout the financial services industry.
Prior to AEF, Ron was Group Head of ESG and Chief Business Development Officer at Envestnet Inc. His career in the financial services sector spans over three decades. During this time, Ron has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills while driving results and empowering others, a true testament to his visionary leadership. He has held pivotal roles at renowned institutions including UBS, Bank of America and Nationwide Financial.
Ron actively participates on several boards, including The American College, The Ohio State University Early Head Start Program, and the King Arts Complex. Ron has an unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders. His involvement with the Colgate Maroon Council and Handshake America, transitioning from coach to a revered board member, underscores his dedication to mentorship and development.
Ron earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University and a Master of Science in management from The American College. He also holds various professional licenses and certifications, including Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65. He is insurance licensed, a Six Sigma Green Belt and a certified facilitator in “Leadership Through People Skills.”
